Flipping the sample around does not stop the slippage.
Immediately, slippage on the right clamp is noticed.Creases seen on the edge of the sample might be instructional fault, requiring bending and torsion simultaneously before starting the DataStudio.Else, it will soon become difficult to differentiate between the useful information, and the less useful information. In a different note, I will soon have to look into retagging all the posts, and enabling a search functionality somewhere. Regardless, we’re are also simultaneously working on our presentation for the next week: pptPlex is QUITE fascinating feature to add onto our presentations! It gives presentation a much needed roadmap feature, and definitely promotes the organization of our presentation. It will be interesting now, to see if there is a significant change in the errors of the results once I start testing again, as this machine will have had less use after calibration and should have better precision in force sensing. I assume we didn’t originally factor in the break as a cost to the project, but it was at least justifiable with the amount of work we did on the little thing.
We managed to get a replacement for our old stress strain apparatus, number 16 this time (the old one was lucky 13!).
